The code is here: http://code.google.com/p/sparkyrobotcontroller/downloads/list probably needs updating anyway... The thumbstick control does need some work. The logic for reverse still doesn't match forward. Ultimately I would like it to drive l...

I contacted the software dev. when you first asked, but he's in grad school at Stanford so he can't respond to your questions as quickly as I can.

I think using another adapter is ok, but I've only used the keyspan. But iRobot sells their own adapter also. My assumption is to confirm the adapter is working outside of this set-up. You should be able to see it in the terminal window, but again...

I work for a large organization, and we use telepresence all the time. It reduces travel costs, it allows our customers over seas to interact with people back in the states. I think the uses for this technology are there, its a matter of getting ...

You got it. Although this code is available for anyone to modify, we got it working a very specific way. If you can use it with some other set-up, I would love to see the results, but my knowledge is actually very limited - I barely know enough to...

two of my biggest complaints about these kind of sites...

1. I get an email about a comment, but when I follow the link I can't see any comment.

2. I often get email notifications about things that have been posted long before they actually show up on the aggregate site.

These may actually just be one problem.

The more likely source of my frustration is "get your damn skateboards off of my lawn itis"
